In 2015 we will be highlighting technologies and applications most relevant to our attendees. Both current and future HPC technologies will be covered, and some of the most challenging applications areas will receive special attention.
HERE ARE OUR PROPOSED TOPICS FOR 2015:
A well-known and highly respected member of the European HPC community, Prof. Dr. Arndt Bode presently chairs the Board of Directors of the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre. His primary research centers on computer engineering. In addition to his achievement, he has authored five books on various topics of high performance computing.
“It is a great honor as a longtime friend of the conference to now be a part of ISC. I look forward to contributing my part in continuing the ISC legacy as a community event in 2015.”

We are very grateful to all our sponsors for their generous support and contribution towards making ISC a success.
The ISC exhibition features the largest collection of HPC vendors, universities, and research organizations annualy assembled in Europe. Together, they represent the level of innovation, diversity and creativity that are the hallmarks of the global high performance computing community. Having them all available on the same exhibition floor presents a unique opportuinity for users to survey the HPC landscape and for vendors to display their latest and greatest wares.

STUDENT CLUSTER COMPETITION
Once again we will join forces with the HPC Advisory Council (HPCAC), a leading organization for high performance computing research, outreach and education, to host the fourth ISC-HPCAC Student Cluster Competition. The purpose of this competition is to introduce the next generation of students to the high performance computing community and its technology.
This friendly and yet spirited competition will feature small student teams representing universities, and even high schools, from different parts of the world. These student teams will compete in real time over a three-day period on the ISC Exhibition floor to build a small cluster computer of their own design and run a series of HPC benchmarks and applications. The team with the greatest overall performance will be declared the winner.
The call for participation is currently open. For more information, please visit the HPCAC website.
The Forum Messe Frankfurt is home to Frankfurt Trade Fair, Germany’s largest trade fair organizers. They organize around 43 very large-scale trade fairs and exhibitions that attract a total of 40,800 exhibitors and 2.23 million visitors annually. The total exhibition space spans over multiple exhibition halls totaling up to 1.4 billion square meters.
